Exploring texture

Blending oil pastels

5th graders are using their fingers and tortillions to blend oil pastels in their abstract printed designs.

Self-portrait sketching

The 1st graders are learning to connect the slang word "selfie" with the art term "self-portrait." They are observing themselves in mirrors, and sketching what they see.

Victorian Architecture blueprints

The third graders learned about the history and characteristics of Victorian architecture, and are making their own blueprints using a scale of one square=1'.
