Art: METS fingerpainting!

Our METS students are new to school, and missed out on all of the fundamental art lessons and experimenting that the younger kids get to experience in Kindergarten and 1st grade. Today we used fingerpaints for a sensory experience, and practiced mixing some colors and using BBQ skewers as creation tools.

The students in Ms. Smith's class will now have art with Ms. Stone. Today was their first day, and they did a wonderful job adding patterns to their new portfolios!

In Kindergarten, we completed obstacle courses to practice moving with different relationships to objects. We practiced OVER, UNDER, ON, OFF, AROUND, BEHIND, and THROUGH.
